Really nice free camping on private property. **must ask for permission first** We stayed 2 nights in our 23ft truck camper setup. Would strongly not recommend anything longer than what our setup is. Turning around could get very difficult especially with other campers there. Driveway is moderately steep with large loose gravel at the bottom. Hot showers, community tent with Starlink wifi, fabulous outdoor kitchen with gas fire pit and outdoor couches. There is a central electrical plug that has 50a/30a/20a connections. We enjoyed our stay.

Awesome place for all kind of travelers! 15 or so tent spots and some are shaded. A gravel lot to park bikes or trucks. There is a hot shower and a full equipped kitchen available. The lounge tent with couches and a heater is beyond nice.
Just get in touch with Mosko Moto for a reservation and you will get directions for the campground. We wrote them 7 days in advance and received a confirmation email after few hours.
This place is free. So awesome!
If you do not like to drink iron flavored water then bring some drinking water with you.
If you need internet they have Starlink here which works very good.
The access up to the campground has a very short stretch with some deep gravel - some bikes were struggling with that when we stayed there.

i emailed them at 1pm on friday to ask if we could stay the following tuesday or wednesday night, but i didn’t get an email response until wednesday morning. we made other plans since we hadn’t heard from them. super bummed to have missed out on it. :( this is just a heads up to others: message them on Insta, as well as emailing them, maybe you’ll get a faster response. (the place seems so cool tho. great concept of a place/set up, i hope more people start doing this.)

Register first, please do not just show up!! This pin is for Mosko Moto, our free private campground for travelers is about 5 miles north of here. Caters to motorcyclists, bicyclists, vans, trucks, and smaller overland rigs. Ample parking, 12 tent sites, lounge tent, outdoor kitchen, simple shower, porta-potty, stereo, fridge. Cell Svc currently, WiFi coming soon. 110v power at lounge tent, and a distribution box in the parking area. To register contact [email protected] on a weekday 9-5 or as a backup try DMing @batesmototel on Instagram. Same day reservations might work, or might not, depends if we're online. Best to reserve 48 hours before. This is at a private full-time occupied home with a campground tucked away behind it. We love visitors, just please register first so we know you're coming and aren't surprised. If it’s a weekday you can always come by our office in White Salmon and ask.
