I enjoyed exploring the historically accurate fort, barn, living areas, and lifestyle of this fort, which was founded in 1867. Enjoyable for adults and the school children I saw visiting.
Volunteers from The Church of Later Day Saints provide free tours and a 14-minute, professionally made movie about the fort’s beginning if desired. There is no selling of anything and it’s open to all.
Entry and parking are also free (no overnight parking). Space is available for all-size rigs or cars. This site is a very short distance from I-15 and I-70. An excellent break in my drive back north this spring.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
