Something not right?

Description

This is a small USFS with 9 campground sites with 3 pull thru for big rigs. all sites are big and not cramped at all. super clean vault toilet, trash, water pump thang and access to Crescent Creek and some really good brook trout fishing so I hear. at the time of this posting may 18th 2023 many campgrounds and dispersed roads were closed (Snow and downed trees) for another 2 weeks. only bummer is it is right off the cresent cutoff road. not too bad though.

Latest Check-Ins

This campground officially closed 9/24. My stay was on 9/26. I am in a fully self-contained motorhome pulling a toad and had no need for the restrooms or anything else and thus my stay was wonderful. There was no one else in the campground. I selected a pull through site and had no issues getting my 26' MH into the campground or into the site. A sign did confirm that the park was available for use, without services, and to leave no trace.

I have visibile (uses verizon towers) and had 3-4 bars and was even able to stream movies on Prime Video.

Quiet campground with large sites, 30 ft between sites, a couple sites suit bigger rigs. Tent camping allowed. Pit toilets are fairly clean. There is a water hydrant/spigot by Site 1. At the moment, there's a fire ban, but each site has a fire ring.
Campground is part of the National Forest Service but is operated by a contractor/vendor. Sites are $17 or $8.50 with a senior discount. One vehicle included. An additional vehicle is $10. Some sites are reservable, and some are FCFS. We arrived on Sunday afternoon, and all sites were open except the host site.
There was some road noise. The access road to the campground is long and a bit bumpy but completely passable on a passenger car.
The Crescent Creek is immediately adjacent to the campground, but we didn't venture out to see it because the mosquitoes were TERRIBLE!
Cell service was great for AT&T and barely usable for Verizon.
AT&T: ping 50, download 150, upload 8.57
VERIZON: ping 40, download 13.0, upload 2.85
