This is a pullout on the side of the dirt road that leads to the other iOverlander pin! I opted for this spot just because the island is actually a cemetery which spooked me haha
I have a small ford transit connect but this space could definitely fit a larger sprinter, camper or even tent!
There were a few cans littering the area but it was an easy cleanup :)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
This is an Indian Reserve; you need permission from the Band to camp here.
Report Check-InQuite private spot and was able to back up with 18 ft trailer and adjusting the level (a few cars driving to island site in early evening). You can drive around the island to get out if needed. The highway is still close (150 m) and the trucks are noisy at night and a few train horns. Some interesting sounds from locals singing nearby till about 10 pm Friday.
Report Check-InLovely place to stop and rest. local vehicles go out to the island. We didn't wish to disrespect this special resting area, so stayed in this place before the road bridge. Perfect.
