Description
Due to the new dam, the town of Yusufeli and the roads along the former river bank have been flooded. None of the roads around here that are shown in Google maps or open street maps exist anymore. The newly built tunnels are open, but the new bridge across the river is currently still under construction. Large detours necessary.
Tekkale and Dörtkilise church are only accessible from the East.

Yes, the old Yusufeli is not any more, have been here in 2010, but the new one is very nice stop for food, fuel, groceries, and caffe/çay. Really perfect car-stop. And the dam is amazing! 👌
