Mexico
This is the building you need to go in to get your Visa/FMM, and TIP. You also cancel your TIP here at the Banjercito when exiting Mexico. There is designed parking on the West side of this building.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Despite telling the officials in the SAT office that we would only be in Mexico for 6 days, they still charged us $42 for our FMM cards. Seems sketchy.
Report Check-InThis was our first border crossing from US to Mexico. We are Germans traveling with a 2002 selfmade camper. It took about an hour to do all the paperwork. The officers are very friendly and helpful.
At letter A in the picture you will get your visa. At letter B you have to pay for the visa (cash oder credit, pesos or dollar, it's up to you) and it costs 717 pesos per person.
After you went back to letter A with the receipt you can go back to letter B to get the TIP.
We can recommend this crossing from US to Mexico.
