El Salvador
This Puma gas station is more of A truck stop. There’s a new and clean shower building around the back plus new bathrooms and all are free of charge. They may start charging eventually but as of June 1, 2023 it was free. There’s lots of big rig parking for the night if you need that too. Enjoy!
There’s 3 stalls in the shower building which are most likely used by male truckers but I had my husband accompany me just to be safe and no one else came in. We filled our van tank from one of the water taps around the parking lot. Water looks a little cloudy so we won’t be drinking it until we run it through our Berkey but it’s fine for showers and dishes.
You can also get gas here and the price is good.
night parking 5$
shower 2$

We were pleasantly surprised by this Puma stop. The parking is around back, meaning that it is quiet despite being close to the main road. There is a guard office with armed guard all night. You purchase your pass ($5 USD/night) inside the store. They gave us two copies of a receipt (an original with a carbon copy behind it). We were told to bring it to the guard station. They took one of the copies and we kept the other. Clean, new bathrooms.
Report Check-InSeptember 2023
Guard told us Shower are 2$ and 5$ to stay the night, lot of trucks, we didn't stayed as it's no sense for us to pay to stay on a gas station parking.
restrooms behind the shop are cleaner than inside.
