Small campsite next to the Rio Chama. There are a coupe of fire pits.
Take the road from Abiquiu Damn down to the road along the river.
Nice and quite.

Beautiful place, many stars at night. quiet. We nearly ruined our car when coming from the right side, so I DEFINITELY recommend the road from the dam!
The spots further to the left are more in the shade. Further up to the dam there is a picnic spot with a pit toilet and picnic tables(no camping there). We had breakfast there, very nice!
Lovely place, very idyllic! The campsites furthest south / closest to the waterfall have sunlight the longest :) - Ended up staying an extra day as it was so beautiful.
P.s.: Not a lot of natural firewood, but there are pit so I would recommend to bring your own.
Great spot with lots of trees right along the river. Came up from the south, the road was very rough definitely need clearance and if wet 4WD. If you come down from the dam it is a lot easier. Minimal traffic but limited spots. Good spot for paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing.
Report Check-Infully open and really nice spots and even talked to the ranger and he said anything past the cattle guards is completely open he said just pick anywhere past them
