Great spot! Some kids partying early. All quiet by 9. Handicapped accessible Porta potty and a dumpster. Right on the canal path.
Report Check-InStayed overnight. Quiet parking lot. Arrived at 12:30 AM. There were some kids smoking weed in their car in the corner of the parking lot. The damn is lifted up for the winter so the water isnt making noise. There was a porta potty a few hundred feet away that I was able to use. Overall a great place to stay!
Report Check-InAwesome spot! The New York Canal Authority has free campsites along the entire canal for bikepackers but there is also a large parking lot and people are clearly parking their RV's there long term. More info at https://www.canals.ny.gov/trails/camping.html
