we managed the road up with our 4x4 in low gear (6m length). we had one or two grey hairs more afterwards, but it was possible. the place and the view is very nice indeed. we were woken by birds that we heard for the first time in our lives! 25 bol pp. good entel.

Super nice campsite. What a view. A little difficult to achieve, but doable. At the sign directly to the left, it goes up a little steeper for about 300m. The showers are cold, but one has a great view. Toilets are also available and there is even a small pool. The owner is super friendly. 25 BOB/person

In this area - our favorite! Very nice view, nice pool and a helpful owner! We came here in a 7,5m truck. Was a bit tricky but manageable. We payed 25BOL pp and 12,5BOL per kid 🚒💨👍

Indeed a lovely place with Vladimir as the very sweet owner. Beautiful location, sparkly clean pool, many beautiful birds. And only 20 BOB pp. Directions aren’t correct though: coming from La Paz you should turn of directly after the sign ‘Rio Selva Resort’. Driving towards La Paz turn of at ‘Chairo’. I added photos of the signs. Then turn left at the sign of the eco-camp. The sandy, steep and very winding road is probably not suitable for big rigs.

We stayed here for a night and had a great time. The owner is very nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome. He was also very happy to receive Overlanders.
Don't miss it if you're on your way in or out of La Paz, it's a little paradise.

The previous instructions about how to get there are correct except that you should take the turn to Chairo and not to Villa Hermosa (do not take this turn, it will lead you to a dead end). There is a little tienda on the side of the road where you should take the turn, no way to get lost.
After about 500m you will see the sign with the name of the camping, you'll know you're on the right place. Just follow the road on the left.

A very nice little Campground run by a very very nice owner.
20bol pP per night. You geht cold showers, toilets, a nice pool, nice views, a lovely garden and agua potable.

To get here, you must take first the small road from the mainroad to ,Villa Hermosa’ and then drive a little bit until there is the sign to the Camping. Here you have to drive left and keep yourself left on this road. This road up to the place is a bit steep & tricky, but we did it in the dark with our 2WD VW Crafter. So if you keep it slow, you will manage :). But don‘t know if bigger rigs like Unimog or something would be able to do it?

Down on the sign for the Camping there is also written the phonenumber of the owner so that you can contact him before you go up the road in case he is not there (he works in a hotel nearby) or something.

For us it was a real relief that we found this place, because around here there are not many nice possibilities in our opinion.

So if you want to relax a little bit before or after La Paz … this is a very good place for it!

We were there completely by ourselfes - it was like a little paradise for us.
