This is a park area next to the local water treatment plant. We believe it's right along the Milk River. There's a gazebo, nice cotton wood trees and a grassy area. The local police department lead us here to stay for a night or two at no cost. There are NO hookups but if you're self sufficient is a nice spot. Just be sure to bring good strong mosquito repellent.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Parked up on the dirt area under the tree, there seems to be hourly police visits very reassuring, I think a one nighter here is the max. There’s a few blood suckers around even now.
Report Check-InLimited parking. Officer patrolled throughout the night, which is nice. Officer was there when I arrived and was friendly & said I could park there for the night. He said that the water treatment plant doesn't like people going through their gates though so keep that in mind. Officer did warn me about the mosquitoes at night but I never left my rig to know. There wasn't any during the day. There is a half torn down mobile home and what looks like an abandoned pumpkin farm next to the water treatment plant/dog park/park area.
Report Check-InJust as described, go down the road, and there is a place to park before the gate of the water treatment plant. There are picnic tables and garbages so that is very nice.
