huge, flat, empty lot beside and well off the hwy.
great spot to pull off for a stretch break or an overnighter if need be.
I didn't stay here overnight but chances are it's a great quiet spot, nothing nearby other than the relatively chill highway 97
looks like this was or may still be a rock/gravel quarry access point
surrounded by beautiful tall sage brush

Very large place for any size rig. Hwy noise died down for a nice nights sleep. Our rig is 73’ long plenty of room to turn around.
Report Check-InI presume this is an ODOT for gravel. parked behind the gravel mound that softened the wind and road noise. Nobody bothered us. Good night's sleep. Weak, but usable LTE on Google Fi (TMobile).
Report Check-InNice little spot to pull off, no light polution. Great location for star gazing with a wide open sky. We chose this spot for best viewing of the Aurora Borealis. The Frogs sang us to sleep.
This is an active gravel storage area for the state as there were fresh pikes of. Chip seal rack and road sand. No one bothered us though.
Had no problems staying here some highway noise (road isn’t super busy) but you can park pretty far away from the road this is a big pull off could fit multiple big rigs. 2 bars t mobile
