Something not right?

Description

Another spot if the others are full. This one is a decent size, two friendly vans could fit no problem. Level-ish. There is a small slope behind you can walk up that has beautiful views and a fire ring and would be great for tent camping. OK Verizon signal, no T-Mobile. Some locals doing target practice nearby, but friendly. About 10-15 minutes drive into town.

Latest Check-Ins

Stayed here with two big rigs overnight. Local youths came up to have a party (Saturday night), about 10 little Hondas and toyotas made it up the road just fine with the promise of beer ahead. Slept fine, music didn't echo over to us. Beautiful area!

We stayed 1 night, road is bumpy and may be difficult, but we saw a full size RV and a minivan drive up, so it's doable if you have the nerve. Nice spot, little hill behind with a great view. There were a bunch of ammo shells, this is in a hunting area for sure but it was quiet all night and no issues at all.

We did not end up staying here due to the amount of bones and carcasses everywhere- it was a little spooky, lol. We did not have service so did not see the reviews stating this is an elk killing ground (not sure what that is- but believe it after seeing all the bones!!) But it was a beautiful spot with amazing views and a fire pit!

As long as you’re 3 miles from the sign, you can camp on this road. I stayed about a half mile past the spot. It was decent for a night but wouldn’t want to stay longer. We have a dog and the dead elk carcasses everywhere were quite inconvenient lol. Wind picked up pretty good at night. We had zero service with Google Fi. About 20 or 30 cars drove by throughout the evening. A local dude stopped and chatted for a bit, which was nice.
