Description

Refuge for wildlife victims of trafficking or domestication. They have two jaguars, 1 puma, Coatis, monkeys, agoutis, parrots, turtles... possibility to visit or volunteer. It's not a zoo. For volunteering it's $17/day including accommodation and 3 hearty meals (same price for children and motorhome travellers). Normally it's at least 1 week but we were able to do 4 days. We fed the animals, cleaned the cages and did some small DIY work (about 4 hours of quiet "work" during the day). Our two 8 and 11-year-old daughters loved it and so did we
