Very kind people. The chocolate tour worth it!
Just be aware thar it could be a lot of mosquitos but with a good « repelante » it will be ok.
If you do the tour there is no charge for the night parking.

Safe heaven in this region. We arrived in the evening, spent the night and did the chocolate tour in the morning. It was informative and delicious. Don’t miss. The family is very friendly and helpful. We felt 100% welcome and safe.

Coming up from Peru this is an excellent stop ! We arrived after dark and Ninfa welcomed us with open arms ! The next morning we did the tour and the 3 course lunch. The tour was very good, super detailed and perfect English. Highly recommended stop along the way.

Really beautiful stop for the night. You can sleep on the cacao plantation / chocolate factory. It‘s a small family run business right next to a small river. We were warmly welcomed and spent a calm night. For now it has toilets and some electricity. It is free at the moment and you can buy chocolate and coffee from the chocolate maker himself or even get a tour through the business. Off the main road with a small part of gravel. 2x2 workes fine. Ps: bring mosquito spray!
