Wooded primitive Government campground. Five miles up a dirt road so make sure you have the appropriate vehicle. Picnic tables, fire pits, latrine. Very peaceful and glimpses of a view across the valley.

We were looking for a place to camp and everything else was booked across Carmel and Big Sur, so we gave this a try. It took us 30+ minutes up and very dusty dirt road and once we arrived, the bugs were apparent, and this campground did not have any view as we were hoping for its location. After a quick walk around to sus it out, we agreed we could do better and did not stay here. I read the reviews and agree that the bugs were insane, with biting insects that swarm you immediately. We now call this area fly mountain. If you do try this spot, be prepared with bug nets. Do not recommend tent camping.
