Something not right?

Description

little picnic area at the asphalted part of the road to the Yala Parc, direct at river Yals. At rainy days the last 8 km ripio serpentines to the Parc are slippery, so we had a quiet night here.

Latest Check-Ins

Would be a really nice place to camp. However, there is a lowish hanging wire at the entrance we did not clear, and a sign that says open to 7pm, so not 100% sure it's ok to camp here. Plenty of shade and a nice river and stream. We did not stay because of the wire. Probably ~3m high at most, maybe a bit less. The road up to the lake deteriorates, we also had to bail on that. Smaller 4wd would be ok.

This is a real camping, not only a pique-nique area.
500$ per person ! Expensive for what it is : grassy spots with parillas and 1 (!) toilet for women and 1 (!) for men. No sit board, but toilet paper available (first time in Argentina).
One power plug available in the toilet.

Nice river and very calm.

They charge 100pesos per car to be here and 50 pesos per person, nice river but we didn't stay.

Had a pleasant quiet night here. Was worried about loud music at night but nobody came. A lot of people were here until about 9pm. May have to find any spot at first then move to a better spot later. There was a sign to pay for toilets, but they were locked when we arrived at 5pm...but opened at 8am (15p). Can bathe in river, please use biodegradable soaps.

safe and calm

Report Check-In

Although this place was marked as closed, we did go here and had a super quiet night and subsequent day. Perhaps the last person was just unlucky to get send away. We thought this place is too convenient to stay marked as closed, so we opened it again. Just keep in mind there might be the small chance you'll be send to the village. The tap was dry when we were here, so don't count on potable water (for your 'shower', there's always the river :))

Report Check-In

The police doesn't allow to be there from 8 pm

Report Check-In

The police doesn't allow to be there from 8 pm. They said to us that we could sleep in front of the police station, just in the fence of camping El Refugio (Free)

Nice spot with picnic tables and BBQ. Close to the river and the road, but not much traffic. There was one other tent camping while we were there, but it was a quiet night all around. Toilets were pretty rough, but ya gotta go somewhere, ya know?

Report Check-In

Good and quiet spot to stay with tables, water and a toilet. The man toilet was useable, the women's had been too durty.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot to spend a night.
Right next to the river. BBQ available. shelter. Stone tables
Locals come here to share a parilla for the day. At 21h everyone was gone exepted few campers like us.
It's indicated "parilla libre" on the road
