Description

campground is located at Mile 37.4 of the Glenn Highway, about 1.5 miles east of the Parks & Glenn Hwy interchange.

Being situated on two lakes, Kepler and Bradley, you will find a serene setting for camping, picnicking, boating and excellent trout fishing. The lakes are stocked annually by the State of Alaska Department of Fish & Game. For those interested in hiking, we provide walk-in access only to the Matanuska Greenbelt Trail System.

Come visit for the day or camp overnight and enjoy a great time of recreation and relaxation. Centrally located in the Matanuska Valley, Kepler Park allows you to experience the "great outdoors" but is also just a short distance from other attractions and conveniences.

While staying with us as your base camp, you can visit the Musk Ox Farm, or the Reindeer Farm, and then drive to other popular sights such as beautiful Hatcher Pass and the view at Independence Mine or visit the Matanuska Glacier

Latest Check-Ins

I hate to do this to Ma and Pop type places but I have to since we spent 30 bucks on it. It’s a private campground and the tent spots are all super close to the highway. We could hear road noise the whole night and on top of that the spots are VERY uneven. Don’t bother going into the outhouse either, it’s terrible. You are better off parking on the side of the road for free unfortunately. There needs to be some better upkeep for 30 bucks a night.

Primitive campground. $25 per night plus $5 for the dog. Stayed two nights. Hidden from the road. Nothing special but worked for us. Close to Palmer.
