Had to reserve online and $70 was the cheapest. Lots of sites available this time a year (maybe because it is very expensive). Like others said, very nice right at the ocean. Beautiful sunsets. Nice ocean sounds. Good cell reception. Clean. I enjoyed it.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
$70/night (+$7 processing, +$ for showers/dumping) for an oceanfront spot. I booked same day mid-week. Good bathrooms and great Verizon service.
Report Check-InWe couldn’t reserve a space online but showed up and the lady at the gate said we that they could sell the disabled spots to campers after 17:00 so we got lucky with that!

Report Check-Inok state park. it Does have Showers across from site 202. the staff and online are not aware of it. not to much road or train noise in a van. $35 +7 for none oven site.
Report Check-InGood campground by the ocean, kind of full. Clean bathroom and coin shower. You need to buy coins at the entrance.
Report Check-Instayed before. good spot for legoland. clean campground but usually pretty full. we rolled in late no reservations and found an empty spot. nice ocean sounds. not much in the area but this place. big difference from baja where we woke up this morning!
Report Check-InSimple state campground on the bluffs over the ocean. Beautiful views and sound of crashing waves. @vanlifefoodies
Report Check-InDry camped here in camper van some highway noise. Very clean bathroom and showers. Families. Well patrolled. Safe. Miles of beach . $35 night with no hookups.
Report Check-InNot a great spot, but I guess this is normal in California. Dry sites are 35$ inland and 50$ on the oceanside. Everything costs extra: 1$ for 2 shower coins (4 minutes). Dumping is 10$ (and only non-potable water next to it) and laundry was out of service at the time. Water is available close to sites, but no screw terminal for a hose so no way to fill your RV. You need to bring a canister and it is push button operated. Road noise turns down at night, but at some sites you have bright streetlights above you.
All in all not recommended, feels like a rip-off.
Report Check-In$50 for Ocean side spots, $35 for inland side.
Hwy101 goes through next to it, this makes it a bit past but otherwise a nice campground.
Officially checkin only after 2pm but they let us check in at about 11am already. Probably because there were many free spots.
