Latest Check-Ins

The caravan parc is closed by official order. As it seems they did not have the necessary permissions. We were sent away by security staff. It looked like the same happened to the attached Lodge

Report Check-In

Big campground, almost empty at the beginning of high season. We had a massive area all to ourselves. Abolutions clean and spacious with hot water and great water pressure. Perfect place to rest a few days. Only problem was the staff at reception. Very hostile and not very welcoming. Considering that nobody was there they should have been happy to see us. Also note that the access to the beach is very steep with lots of steps. We paid 160 pppn but high season price is much higher (265 pppn).

Report Check-In

Very nice Campground with subtropic plants. There are two Restaurants in the Lodge nearby, both worth to visit.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights at this lovely campsite. Staff very welcoming. Good ablutions. Nice pool. Beach access. The sundowner bar is a must (great pizza). Pensioner rate R115 pppn.

Report Check-In

Huge camp, but you can enjoy your privacy between bushes, trees and flowers.
Nice swimming pool area.
Ablutions clean, hot water.
We paid R105 per pensioner in low season.
Unfortunately the access tag to the beach was not working.
You have to wear a wristband at all times

Report Check-In

This time of the year it's very quiet at this campsite, just a few other campers are around. Beach access is rebuild and 85 steps bringing you down to the beach, also the pool is renovated. Everything is clean and well maintained.

Report Check-In

Settled in with 90 other pensioners who’d been camped here since May. The camp offers great rates for longer stays. 180ZAR for 2. $300/400 a month. Still a beautiful place. Still no beach access. They’ve built an observation platform. Great place to regroup, work or just relax for a few days. Signal/data access great with MTN and Vodacom.

Report Check-In

This is about the third time over the past few years we’ve stayed here. Generally for several days. Yes, beach access has sadly changed. The camp is still beautiful. Love our secluded spot. The birds are amazing. Monkey families are fun to watch. Excellent signal for both MTN and Vodacom for Internet work. The price is really good for pensioners if you stay a week or more. Really good place for us to get some work done.

the walking dead campsite ;-)
Very big Campite with nice sites and lots of plants and shadow, Ablutions are basic, a little rundown, but clean. There are many many signs with rules and advises, like - use shower only 5 minutes, take only two sheets of paper to dry the hands, it is not allowed to fil the Bathtube more than half, etc. pp.- but what pisses me of was, that the "Lady" at the reception plugs the only other Caravan directly beside our place on the same site, although there are minimum 300 Sites, and all were empty up to 3 places with permanent campers. That was very annoying. The way to the beach is permanently closed, so you can not go there. this is a place for a stopover , nothing more

Report Check-In

Huge campground. Well laid out sites. Lots of secluded spots. Ablutions kept super clean. Nice little superette to get ice cream or a toasted Sandwich. Steep stair access to beach which is practically gone. Great price for pensioners. Monthly rates also available.

Report Check-In

Ditto others.
