Arrived in the dark and was the only van there. It was fine in a 2WD promaster but the ground was soft in some areas and if wet might be messy. Only stayed to sleep a few hours before heading to Bryce Canyon for sunrise so never did see it in the light.
Report Check-Inseems to be BLM according to map. Spent night here as it's handy and accessible for big rig. Easy drive on into Bryce (20 min?). Didn't explore on up road. This little lot is sandy, but was firm at my visit. If you're also looking at FS117 camping area it did have a closed sign in the road when I passed by (3/2). Also FS has some restrictions over there you should look at.
