spent one night on this street.

we talked to the police and they instructed us to park next to their guard shack. very nice people.

night was relatively quiet until 5am (like usual)

there is a fresh water tap next to the police.

Good place to stay overnight, Wifi only available inside the park. Police patroled frequently. Felt safe.

Fizemos desse local nossa casa por muitos dias, encontranos banheiro, um lugar seguro para dormir, internet e íamos vender com a kombi na Basílica que fica perto. Perto daqui no Ginásio poliesportivo, encontramos ducha fria, nos banhamos sem problemas e grátis.

Parking gratuit jour nuit, vous pouvez rester 5 jours d’affilée maximum. Bon wifi gratuit tout autour de la place. Calme jour et nuit, aucun problème de sécurité, l’endroit est sûr. La police tourne jour et nuit. Aucun problème pour se garer avec notre Van de 19 pieds.
Parfait pour visiter la ville.

We stay onde night here. Safe. Quiet after 22pm. There is wc and drink water on the Centro Civico (100m open 7am-9pm). Good wifi. Free.

We stayed one week in this place. Children didn't want to leave basketball, football playgrounds and we used free internet. Toilets and electricity available under the playground. During holidays there were free sport animations each wednesday and saturday morning. A quiet and secure place to stay in a town.

We stayed here one night. The Municipal Police officer on duty thought we were suspicious and contacted the Civil Police. We explained we were traveling and had an appointment with a mechanic first thing the next day in San Jose, they said it was fine to stay overnight.

We stayed here again as we had to pass thru Cartago again. we were able to connect to the open Wi-Fi signal. very quiet night.

We spent a Sunday afternoon and night here. It's in between two McDonald's if you want wifi. There were two evening masses at the church so it was busy but not noisy until about 9 then quiet overnight. We felt safe. Good movistar reception.

We had to make a return trip to Cartago to pick up a package sent through Aeropost. So we pulled into our spot at the church again. We did have to wait down the street until a funeral cleared out and emptied the parking spots. This will be our 4th night here in total.

Although main thoroughfare is only a few meters away, this side street in front of church park had plenty of extra long parking spots. Walking distance to main plaza and restaurants.

Slots next to the church which fits trucks up to 7.5 meters length. Had no problems and good for a night. Very quiet after 11pm.
