Fundo Cunaguaro | Established Campground

We spent 4 very nice days together with Josè and Arelys. The two are really incredibly nice and helpful. We were able to do repairs on the vehicle and enjoy the peace and quiet on the campsite. But please call in advance.

José and his wife are very nice people. Luis who lives on the site is also very friendly. They have a nice swimming pool and the surroundings are pretty. They were very welcoming and offered us coffee, even a jug of kefir yoghurt. We talked for a while about what we think of Vz among other things.

Unfortunately we couldn’t stay more than a night.

The dogs are friendly and go along well with our dog. They have pigs but they don’t have much space now. Jose told us he’s going to build a place outside for them to stroll around.

Excelente lugar para descansar alejado de ruidos y en un entorno de naturaleza extraordinario.... lo mejor la piscina para botar el estrés jajajaja.

Nos quedamos varias noches con José y Are, loa dueños del fundo, es un lugar que cuenta con todo lo necesario y hay algunos animales. Ellos son Pet frienddly. Recomiendo este lugar al 100% ya que la hospitalidad es increíble! nos vamos con grandes amigos. Gracias por todo!

Excelente lugar para pasar unos días en el campo de camino a Puerto Ordaz. José y su familia son unos anfitriones espectaculares que hacen la estadía perfecta.

Lovely people, nature, swimming pool, enough shade, nice shower and lots of puppies to cuddle! 🐶 We recommend this place very much if you're looking for a few days of rest.

Conhecemos José e Arelys através da rede de apoio a viajantes da Venezuela e assim chegamos aqui. Lugar super tranquilo, amplo espaço para acampar, colocar uma rede, banheiro, piscina, tudo perfeito pra quem busca uns dias de descanso. O campo não tem sinal de celular então é perfeito aproveitar cada pôr do sol e céu estrelado, os dias aqui são de conexão interior, com a natureza, sem a interferência das redes sociais. Passamos um domingo aqui com a família deles que vem às vezes aos finais de semana, compartilhamos de momentos maravilhosos, cozinhamos juntos, jogamos uno, dominó, rumi kubi.. foram tantos momentos alegres que é difícil ir embora ❤️

We met José and Arelys through the support network for travelers in Venezuela and that's how we arrived here. Super quiet place, ample space to camp, put up a hammock, bathroom, swimming pool, everything perfect for those looking for a few days of rest. The countryside has no cell phone signal so it's perfect to enjoy every sunset and starry sky, the days here are about inner connection, with nature, without the interference of social media. We spent a Sunday here with their family who sometimes comes on the weekends, we shared wonderful moments, we cooked together, we played uno, dominoes, rumi kubi... there were so many happy moments that it's hard to leave ❤️

José and his wife are extraordinary people, warm, attentive, and helpful, providing selfless support to those who seek it...

The place is very beautiful and peaceful, with a wonderful sunset. However, the access is via a small dirt road or a 500-meter trail, which is likely to be cumbersome when wet. The place is spacious, so a large vehicle won't have any issues. There's space for cooking, and camping or even hanging hammocks is possible...

Additionally, they have (not here) an accessories shop that any traveler would surely want in their luggage; pocket washers, mini dashboard cameras, chargers, lamps, smart spotlights, and several others, including clothing; just have to ask them...

We enjoyed 3 wonderful days in this place...

José y su esposa son personas extraordinarias, cálidos, atentos y solícitos brindando un apoyo desinteresado a quien lo solicita...

El lugar es muy lindo y tranquilo y con una puesta de sol maravillosa, eso si el acceso es una pequeña terracería o trocha de 500 m que seguramente mojada ha de ser engorrosa.
El lugar es espacioso por lo que un vehículo grande no tiene problema, hay un espacio para cocinar y se puede acampar o incluso colgar hamacas...

Además tienen (no aquí) una tienda de accesorios que más de algún viajero seguramente quisiera en su equipaje, lavadoras de bolsillo, mini cámaras de tablero, cargadores, lámparas, reflectores inteligentes y varios más, incluso ropa; cuestión de preguntarles...

Disfrutamos 3 maravillosos días en este lugar...

We were hosted by José and his family for a night, there is plenty of space to pitch a tent, hang a hammock or park your vehicle. We had a lovely time, everyone was so welcoming and nice with us, we had a chat with the family in the evening and they taught us how to prepare arepas in the morning! Also showed us around a couple of places in the area! There is bathroom and shower (clean) and a really nice pool we could use
I really recommend stopping by, just contact José in advance!
