small relatively flat pullout at the end of a windy dirt road. wasn't bad made it up in my Chevy express van. 4 bars LTE
Report Check-InBeautiful spot overlooking the Colorado national monument canyon and the town of Fruita in the distance! Made it just fine in our 2wd sprinter. There is 1.3 miles of rough road on black Ridge coming from the monument but you can bypass it by staying on n 16 1/2 road to Holloway lane and then to radio tower road.
Report Check-InOuffff… sprinter van19’ 2tractions…. It was ok but not easy, go slooooow, internet lte 2 bars at the top, very nice view on the canyon… place for 2 sprinter no more … really happy to be here
Report Check-InRoad is mild 4wd/HC, some ruts and rough sections. Might be ok with HC only if completely dry and you go slow. 4 bars Verizon LTE. A little cooler than down below.
Report Check-InAbsolutely amazing views to the North and South. not much is level but it's worth sorting out. road to this location needs high clearance more than 4x4 (at least when dry). I'm not sure I would want to come here right after or during rain due to washes across the road. Excellent T-Mobile and Verizon coverage.
Report Check-InBetter space to be at level at 500 feet below the point mentionned, which is close to the gate.
Report Check-InInformal campground in BLM.
No amenities but free.
Quiet place at the end of the road.
4x4 needed if you come from the parking of Colorado national monument (near of the intersection)
beautiful spot with several spots to stay. I choose to stay a little bit uphill from the little dirt road, turn left on the ridge, right there where you would go right to the radio station. ...top spot
Report Check-InAwesome camp spot, with unbelievable views. Quiet and serene. Bring everyone you need since you're on top of a mtn...
