Campground in the Teddy Roosevelt NP. even numbered sites are FCFS basis. Nice place. Potable water was not available as of the date of our visit.

Great place to spend a night. Most sites spacious. Very cool having bison walk around campsites & nearby fields. Horses are beautiful too.

only $7 to camp during off season! you just pay with an envelope at the entrance to the grounds and if you don’t have exact cash you can fill in your cc info. nice and quiet even though there were other campers around the sites are spaced out to allow pretty good privacy. grills and picnic tables at each site and a pit toilet. watched bison graze on the hillside right behind the site, it was absolutely gorgeous!

Beautiful drive to the campground and quiet lovely place to camp. Pit toilets and there was a water hydrant that was on by the self pay kiosk. My morning coffee buddies were 3 buffalo that wondered into my site! Amazing. Would stay again. Can’t beat the $7 daily fee!

very beautiful campground and super nice hosts. water and bathroom. 1-2 bars on t-mobile. you can see the milky way at night! but there is a LOT of road noise from I-94

great campground, beautiful spot, with amazing views, but the gnats are bad it makes it impossible to be outside without being absolutely swarmed.

Beautiful site with views of the river. Overall a nice National Park Campground with friendly hosts.

There are bathrooms and potable water, but no dump station. The hosts directed us to Medora Campground with a $5 dump station.

Though the campsite looks remote, it’s less than 10 miles to the town of Medora. It’s right on the south scenic loop in the National Park.

Great site next to the river. Not great service but enough for zoom/FaceTime. $7 in the winter. Brought my dog. Camped in a pull through spot with my 14’ trailer. Potable water and dump in he summer. Amenities shut off in the winter since it’s well below freezing here.

First time at Theodore Roosevelt NP, winter rates are $7 per night. I believe all sites that are open are first come/ first serve. Sites are pretty well spaced. Saw four bisons hanging out next to the road into the campground.

No pull in or back in sights left when we got in at 2:30 pm. Camp host suggested that we use two walk in sights parking. Worked great. Watched the Buffalo run around (rut) so we decided to stay in our tent on the truck. Bathrooms are ok. Looks as though the end of September they will be tearing down everything and rebuild them.
They do take CC

At end of day, got a FF walk-in site. Quiet enough but not very private. Good Verizon most of the day, some AT&T. $7

Report Check-In

Nice National Park campground, liked the park enough to spend a second night. Food available 6 miles Medora.

Report Check-In

Closed for COVID but looks beautiful! Two bars of service for AT&T and three of you have Verizon.

Spacious campsites that aren’t far from town for necessities

Report Check-In

Very nice campground. Sites are nicely spaced. We stayed two nights. A few sites are reservation, but most are first come first serve. Fills up most nights in summer by 3pm.
