Latest Check-Ins

We spent 2 hot nights here. Very quiet. Nice people. Lots of midges due to fruits. We have seen beautiful birds : Motmot. Very next to ferry for Omotepe. Not good WIFi.

Report Check-In

We stayed one night, the owner is really nice and the place is amazing and everything they are saying in the other reviews, except for the Wi-Fi which was very slow, a problem for us who needs good internet to work, the Claro 4G signal doesn't work well there either !

Report Check-In

Great place, Ronnie is super nice guy and one of the cleanest, well run places we stay in Central America.
Set up with hostel (we didn’t check or see rooms) and amazing area for overlanders. Big rigs drive around back.
Super friendly stay
Restaurant
Super clean facilities
Rocky the mascot is also super nice

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We stayed extra night as gated and he allowed our three dogs to roam yard. Wonderful recharge for us.
He also will let you park your van if you want to make trip to the island on foot.

Again solid place, not a negative thing to say or even consider.

Wonderful camping spot with super clean shower and toilets, outside tables, electricity and fast wifi(!!) in a garden under trees. the garden has lots of fruit trees. ronny -the owner - and his stuff is super nice and welcoming. option to wash clothes. restaurant with food available. perfect place to stay before going to ometepe or before/after bordercrossing. slept like babies. well worth the 15$. highly recommend!

Report Check-In

Everything as described before...New toilets and showers and dump for grey and dark water. Restaurant is recommended for burgers homemade american style.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay with all facilities, water and electricity.

Main entrance for RVs and vans is around the block in the back. Front entrance is tricky and not high clearance for taller vehicles.

Report Check-In

Very very good RV Park. Ronny the owner is super friendly and his Burgers are great. Was a very good time here, 5 nights at all. New Toilets and showers should be ready end of February. yeah

Unfortunately not set up for tents just yet - but it will be soon. Ronny is very friendly and welcoming - the tent space when it’s ready will be fabulous.

We slept here before and after our stay on ometepe island and it is really perfect. For $15 us, the campsite is well laid out with designated leveled spaces with a light, electricity and water, there is also an RV drain (finally!!), several fruit trees, toilets and shower. The owner is really friendly.

Great place and the owner Ronnie is a nice guy.
Very "American style" campground with all you need at every station (water, electricity, wifi, shade, barbecue). He also plans to build a bathroom closer to the campground. For now he opens one inside the building for you.

15usd/night/vehicle.

We chose to leave the van here and rent a motorcycle at the island for the day. It was super easy and we are glad we did that. The ferry with the van would have been a bit sketchy.

Beautiful campground. The owner, a friendly American, has super well laid out his pitch. There’s concrete slab, running water at each site, electricity and a dump! Just for that, it’s worth it. There are plenty of fruit trees on the ground. The owner opens the bathroom of the hotel, with toilet and shower. There is even a small restaurant. It’s quiet! All this, next to the ferry to the island of Ometepe. :)

Great camp ground. The best camping set up we have seen in Central America. Big (tall and wide) rear entrance for large rigs to enter the camping area (if your a standard size vehicle you can just drive in the front entrance and they will show you through to the campground). Ronnie owns and runs the place - super nice American man. He has done a really nice job building this area out for overlanders.
Nicely landscaped. Full concrete vehicle pads with water, power (for light charging), BBQ grill, concrete table and benches, light switch for individual overhead light all at each site. The restaurant/bar is super clean and neat with good typical Nicaraguan food. Given access to a clean bathroom with shower. $15 US a night. Two block up from the ferry terminal.

This is a great place as mentioned by others.

Tall rigs will fit.
Decent WiFi.
Dog Friendly.
Restaurant/Bar on-site.

We splurged on a room w ac—-$30 a night which included a decent breakfast.

The owner was away but I spoke with him on the phone. Within a few more days they will have flat, concrete pads with electric and water.

We really liked this place and recommend it.

Dorm $11US, but is actually a private room with a/c and shared bath. Ensuite (total private) was $24 I believe.

Good restaurant with only a few choices, burgers have a great quality, thick patty

Very large secure parking beside the restaurant, away from the street

As described earlier- best hotel in town I think and staff and Ronny are extremely helpful. So close to the pier too. It was $10 to camp in our truck, clean bathroom and good wifi ( when the neighbours are not piggybacking on it ! ).

Report Check-In

Secure parking area. Clean toilets and shower. The best WiFi we've had in all of Nicaragua. Nice owner. Restaurant on site. A short walk to the beach and the Malecón. Lots of families/locals playing sports, enjoying the water, or hanging out with the kids on Saturday. We recommend if you're catching the ferry or coming back from Ometepe.

Report Check-In

Still 10usd to park inside their parking lot which they lock up safely at night. Ronny, the owner is a nice guy and very helpful. we had wifi and access to clean showers. short walk to the ferry which was great to catch an early one the next morning. didn't try any food at the restaurant so can't comment on that.

Report Check-In

Very nice place. They offered us an unused room to use the bathroom. We stayed the night before going to Ometepe and the night after we came back. The two nights we stayed on Ometepe we were allowed to leave the van secured and for free. Great!

Report Check-In

Awesome place. They let me camp in my van, and use the restroom. Also, free coffee in the morning.

Report Check-In

We parked here for the night. The owner, Ronny is from the USA. He is very nice and said we could use his facilities. We ate at his restaurant and it is probably over priced and they used a microwave to heat up our meals. I watched them do it. When we went to use the shower and toilet it was locked and no guard around to open it.
We had to pay for our meal plus $10 USD for our parking spot.
It is close to the ferry.

Report Check-In

Very nice owner! We could stay in our LandRover after we arrived with the last ferry from Ometepe. Could use restrooms in the hotel.
Paid 300 Cords / 10US$
