Description

Not accepting overlanders anymore unfortunately.

A good choice to stay overnight very close to the Teatro Amazonas. We paid 50 RS including. electricity.

Probably the nicest, friendliest car-park owners we have found! The family lives on-site and there is a secure gate locked at night & when they aren't there. The car park is small and not the most scenic, but the location can't be beaten for proximity to Manaus' tourist centre. The car park can be a bit airless in the day heat, but it's peaceful at night and we slept well here. There is a tiny toilet/cold shower (basic but clean), you can fill your water-tank and plug in to electric. Weak wi-fi. If you stay a couple of days and he gets to know/like you, he might even bring you coffee and bread for breakfast! There is a laundry in the corner (separate business - R3 per item). He also has a gas-bottle exchange business on-site with 3 different bottle sizes available. Very big rigs will fit but won't be able to turn, so need to either reverse in or reverse out. R50 per vehicle per night.

The parking spaces are all labeled with car plate numbers and everybody has a remote to open the gate. There was nobody working there on Easter Sunday, but one of the people parking there told me that it is not a public parking now.

I was looking for the other place and thought this was it. Also family owned and managed (also have a car wash service). Clean w/c which can also be used as a bucket shower. Delmer speaks a few languages, helpful and has had 4 Overlanders in the past year. 25rs for 24 hrs.

Ideal to spend a few nights near the center. The bathrooms are off the premises. The owner is very friendly! If you travel alone and your vehicle is not very big the best option is “Local hostel”, it has garages, better comfort, closer to the center and cheaper!

Still as described before, Charly and Flavia are so nice and helpful, Charly did 1/2 day of car-washing (after our trip from Porto Velho to Manaus with rain and muddy road), he also welded 2 broken parts, did our laundry of 10kg and went to the Porto Trairi with us to organize the balsa to Belém, WhatsApp Charly +55 92 981 136 076

There are two parkings. First the GasFilling/Parking, then two buildings down the second parking run by Thelma, a wonderful lady who took amazing care of us. We showered at her house and used her restroom, we stayed almost 24 hours before embarking to Belém. Great location, wonderful people run the place. Recommended. Paid 50 reais.

Recommended. The caretaker Charles is so welcoming and friendly. He set a table for us, even cooked fresh fish for us, helped us with everything.
Of course a car park is not the most scenic of all places, but it is super safe, located well and we could fill up with potable water and gas.
