Latest Check-Ins

Camping isn’t allowed here, it’s a national park and the Rangers said you can’t camp here.

Report Check-In

Was here for two nights. First night no problem, second evening a few days later Police came at 9pm and told everyone camping is forbidden. Still no sign. We had to leave.

Report Check-In

Beautiful view of the bridge. There 2-3 bars of Verizon 5G and other than the occasional car pulling in to see the view, it’s very quiet. Shortly after I arrived the fog rolled in and the view is now gone. At least I got to enjoy it for a little while. There is a long tunnel that you have to go through to get here. It’s only one lane with a stop light at each end.

It worked ! Good spot, slightly tilted for certain places. A few tourists until the end of the evening. We slept very well. The toilets are closed at night but open early in the morning. Best spots coming from the North. This avoids having to make a round trip on the golden bridge to go to the other spot further down and paying the fee. No restriction signs! The view is beautiful !

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night. No “no” signs. Fog horn that you hear in the distance, goes off every couple seconds, but not too loud. Exposed spot on a hillside so we got some howling winds.
Stayed on a Saturday night and it was busy! Lots of people driving up even at night, playing music from their cars. Died down probably around midnight.

Gorgeous views were absolutely worth it

Report Check-In

Camped in a Toyota Rav4, 2-3 bars of service with Visible. There are three pullout with parking along this 1-wsy road. pulled in around 4:30pm, busy with people coming and going for photos. At about 8:30 the rangers drove by with a loud speaker advising that we were not allowed to overnight park. Not sure if this was just because of the APEC this week or if rules have changed.

it's a beautiful view, has trash cans at each pull out and up at the top of the road at the round about there is a pit toilet.
