In a neighborhood, next to the Port Sanilac Peer. Quiet, paved parking with a potapotty and a path to the beautiful wave wall on Lake Huron. No signs prohibiting overnight parking, no knocks, no problems.

I think the original poster got lucky here. you're literally in an affluent neighborhood, so if anything you're hiding in plain sight. I'm probably surrounded by half a million dollar homes and a marina to the north. I wouldn't waste your time giving it a go. I know I'm not. I'm going to keep moving south. kind of a bummer because I'm tired but I'm going that way anyway.
Report Check-Ina quiet night, lovely view of the marina, nice stroll along the pier. It is a paved lot on an incline. almost none of it is level
