Latest Check-Ins

Loved this spot! Free! Road in is definitely sketch at times, it also rained yesterday so it could be worse than usual ~ but I made it just fine in a 4x4/HCL Sprinter, and I also see a Coleman trailer/camper in here with a 4x4 tow vehicle.
Must have a toilet of some sort and be self contained. There are drive-in campsites and walk-up tent sites.

Report Check-In

Plenty of space for any size rig. The camp was half full for 3 nights.

Report Check-In

This is a separate camping area from the more developed Courthouse Rock campground.

It is a designated camping area with sites. Tents are allowed, but their is no toilet and a waste management system is required (portable toilet). There are no tables, etc here. I saw several RVs back in here, but the road coming in is very rough to me for a camper. Smaller rigs only and stuff that won't drag easily as there are a couple good dips and sharp breaks.

No fee to use.

Cool little spot at the base of Courthouse Rock. Just off the main road going into Moab from I-70. The road is not hard, but low clearance vehicles may not clear two sections.

Report Check-In

it's North of the point on the map. there is another campground at the indicated location, but it is very primitive, no toilets, and only a few sites. The recent descriptions are of the parking area north of the indicated point. it's called Courthouse Rock Corral Campground.

Report Check-In

Site is $20/night. Open lot with tables and some fire pits as well as pit toilet. Pretty view.

Report Check-In

This is a great BLM site.they have recently added additional campsites. It appears to now be fed camping and the “big open site” referenced by another reviewer now has a pit toilet!

As mentioned the views are gorgeous. It was snowy while we were there and that makes it that much prettier!

Report Check-In

Camping along Cotter Mine Road close to Mill Canyon Dinosaur Tracks. Nice view to Courthouse Rock and Slickenslides Arch, the Klondike Bluffs in Arches National Park and the plains north to I-70.

Report Check-In

One night stop along Mill Canyon Rd. Good spaces near town are difficult to find during peak season and especially weekends. We stayed in large open space with two others. There were some pesky white gnats that loved my ears, nose and forehead, but didn't bother the wife. Hot air balloon passed to our west not long after sunrise.
