Easy access from the highway. Quite popular with the locals (trucks, quads, dogs…)
Enough place for boondocking on the huge river bank.
Please be advice to stay close to the vegetation, you might get stuck if to close to the river, soft ground… We had a quiet night.

Several places to park here. 2 pit toilets that were very clean and pleasant! Lovely view of the river and several spots for shade.

Report Check-In

Went down here to check it out. It was raining slightly and I had a hunch I shouldn’t stay here based on the other comments. A local came down and was kind enough to get my attention to kindly tell me it’s not safe when it’s raining. He said in about 2 hours, the water levels will rise and there will be a bunch of mud making it impossible to get out. Sounds like it’s happened before.
Be safe and don’t stay if it’s raining or will rain.

Report Check-In

As described - in the river with rocks providing a nice platform. Road in was fine, but it was a dry day. Could see it get muddy if rains.

Magnifique endroit, très vaste sur plage de galets. Facile d’y circuler même en VR.

Report Check-In

The road after the bridge on the right leaving town. It has a sign before you head into the woods. The road is dirt, but it hasn't rained a lot, so it's not too muddy. It probably gets pretty muddy when it's raining a lot. The road goes back under the bridge and then onto the rocky beach. There are a lot of other campers and locals here on this sat night, 11 pm. No one is being loud, though, which is nice. You can hear every vehicle coming in and out because of the rocks, though. It's super muggy, and of course, there are mosquitos, but this should work for the night.

très belle place pour dormir avec notre tente à toit durant notre road trip du Québec au Yukon!!

Report Check-In

Entrance easy to find at south end of bridge. Park anywhere along the gravel bar, plenty of level spots. Highway noise minimal. ATT. 2 bars

Same as Dori&Mena. Very Nice site. Lots of Space. Peaceful!

Beautiful spot on the river. We camped in a Ford Transit and it was easy coming in. Large stone gravel in the beach. The entrance is on the west side of the highway. Left side of you’re going into town. Right side if you’re coming from town.

There were a few locals here on a Wednesday night at sunset. It wasn’t noisy at night. Depending where you park, you won’t hear the highway. Great spot.

Report Check-In

Mostly packed gravel; we made it very easily in our 30' skoolie pulling our 18' car trailer. The wildfire smoke has been really bad.

Report Check-In

huge riverbed area, go right if you come from Fort Nelson behind the Bridge, many ATVs till darkness (very loud)

Report Check-In

Make a left just before bridge take dirt road down under bridge to river area to park only a few car/ boats here. Gravel

Report Check-In

Very nice spot! A few locals here when we arrived. The road in when we visited was hard packed mud but our jeep had no issues. Also if you go about 1/2km from the bridge the ground is quite soft. More solid rocky area closer to the bridge perfect for our trailer.

Report Check-In

Perfect place for one night. Very quiet, near to the river. Place for many vans.

Report Check-In

See photos for sign on left side of the road as going north for entrance. About .2 miles down dirt road to large rocky area by river. Would not recommend if raining, recently rained and/or river is high. Beautiful Friday evening for us. A few people camping further up river.

Report Check-In

River levels were high, half the path was covered in water and muddy. Did not attempt in my RWD 170wb Sprinter.

4x4 highly recommended

Was pretty loud on a Friday night but after about 10:00 it quite down. Good overnight spot. Has cell service

Report Check-In

Nice spot! Soooo much room right on the bank of the river.

Report Check-In

Better directions were suggested so... If you are heading north, you will see two signs on the left side of the road just before the bridge. This is where you turn off and then follow the road which goes under the bridge and around to the large open spot by the river.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, easy access. A bit of road noise in the morning but nothing crazy. It’s a huge area along the river, so you could probably go a bit further if you don’t want to stay too close to the bridge. No facilities/amenities.

Report Check-In

absolutely great, wide open, some far away traffic noise, but not a concern, 2 30 ft trailer installed for a while, so ... great sunset !

Report Check-In

Quiet sand or rocks your choice. Plenty of firewood. Convenient to town. Cell service.

amazingly quiet spot by the river, stayed there twice and no problem. few other rv's were camping there too and locals were having fun with their atv.

Report Check-In

Nice big open space next to the river. No facilities. Better than the “Esso” option. Free.
