Small bakery in a street around the corner from Malecón. 3 small tables outside. great pastry as well as bread. incredible quality and multigrain bread. Also nice latte. Try the nut tartlets - caramelized walnut- just awesome. responding to former reviews- we are German and yes we loved it. Highly recommended. it is called la tarteleta

We aren’t German, but us Aussies appreciate great baked goods too. The bread is amazing and the pastries are flakey and delicious. Best we’ve had in a long while touring North America.
