Messaged in the morning, said we’d be coming after dark and got a reply. When we got there at 18:30 everything was pitch black, not a single light turned on, nobody there and no answer on WhatsApp

Nice people! Very relaxed stay. All in all a good price quality ratio. With some extra maintenance and TLC this place can be fabulous.

Camping au calme, douche chaude et propre. Un espace pour faire la cuisine. Nous avons payé 10$ par personne avec le wifi inclus. La piscine était glacé ahha.
On recommande.

I ended up staying for 4 nights. Much quiet and could finally have a chance to enjoy Burke’s peacefulness. Again, Adam and Vicki and the kindness people!

Old ablutions, 2 showers, one didn’t work and the other one no pressure at all. Extremely noisy, I had a group of 20 boys the 2 nights, screaming and playing music late and early morning. Second night the cute little dog barked the whole night by my car… Couldn’t use the kitchen, a couple were cooling there the whole time.
Adam, the owner is very nice and helpful!

Very nice and quiet place, facilities as described, very warm reception, friendly and helpful caretakers. Our son (5) was even allowed to use their private playground. The WiFi was everywhere and with good speed. We could use the power plugs in the large hall, which also provided shelter in a downpour. Highly recommended.

Really lovely owners that are welcoming and give great recommendations. Good spots for camping, no power hookups - but usable kitchen facilities, hot showers and a lovely pool. Would definitely recommend for the area - as allows for days trips to Matobo as well as into the city for shops or to see the museums (art and natural history). 20USD pp / night

We enjoyed it very much here and stayed 10 days. Abolutions are old but clean and it was never noisy, neither at daytime nor during nights.
We liked also Bulawayo very much, lots of opportunities to cycle around in town and also hillside dam area.

Our stay was very pleasant on this large property. It was very cold so we took a Backpackers Room at USD30 for 2 adults. Camping is USD10.00 pp. The showers are very hot and the ablutions are old but clean. We stayed at the lowers site away from the main house.

Lovely quiet campsite. Host is super friendly. Everything is very green. The wifi is fast and also available at the campsites. 10$ per person including wifi.

Stayed here for just one night. Very nice location in the beautiful suburb of Bulawayo, but the place is under new management and run down. The new owner (Adam) was out and staff were a bit lost when we were there. We had cold showers and abblutions are in poor condition. Positive note is that you can use the kitchen of one of the rooms for free.

8 USD pppn, plus 2 USD for unlimited WiFi for 24 hrs (about 1Mbit but intermittent).

Relaxed place with hot showers, pool, power but feels a bit expensive, would be okay without WiFi charge. Set in residential area and load shedding means power is sometimes off for 6 hours.

Probably the best option in Bulawayo considering.

Stayed here twice! On the way and way back from the Great Ruins. Nice and quiet and just a few kilometres from town. $8pppn and $2pp for 2gb on WiFi which is quick enough and good reception on campsite. Good ablutions with plenty of hot water. Nice pool too!

Good location on the way to Botswana borde for us. 8$ppn is a bit expencive for this place, ablutions ok, best WiFi so far in our five month trip!

We planned to stay here for one night and we left after three :) Agnes and Andy are really nice and helpful, camping is on their big and green property with grass and many ponds. Big swimming pool, two kitchens and one living room (a little bit old but it’s still nice to have shelter when it’s raining). Hot showers! We paid 8 usd pppn and 3 usd for internet/24h (fast and good). Recommended!

Adam, Vickie, and the kids are terrific. The place is improving with great WiFi and the grounds are lovely. Getting closer to living up to its name. We stayed 7 nights to relax and get caught up. Amazing bird life with nice camp and neighborhood walks.

Burke’s Paradise is as the other descriptions a nice place to stay, especially the cottages and their surroundings are very nice.
The price is now for our car with a roof tent 8$ pppn
There is nothing to complain about.

Peaceful place, lots of birds, very green and lush & beautiful pond. Adam and Vickey are very nice and helpful. WiFi was great but dropped off often. Prices have gone up... we paid $8pppn camping, still $3 for WiFi

Lovely green Compound run by a very friendly (and religious) UK couple. Some Bungalows and (mostly sandy) Space for Camping. Very nice Garden, nice Swimming Pool and good Ablutions (hot Shower). Two Kitchens with social Area. A bit outside the City. Camping still 7 USD pppn, fast Wifi still 3 USD per Day.
Long term Parking available.

very nice place, very friendly owner, ablutions are nice . Wifi was very fast at the place. we stayed two nights, but we had to pay only 3$ for the Wifi. They have a very lovely dog and a cat. we would check hier anytime again :-)

great place just outside of the city. manager is very nice and helpful and showers are hot and amazing. $7ppn camping (cash only but he's working on getting a machine for cards).

Very nice and quiet place up on the hill. A little bit outside of Bulawayo but it's worth the climb.

3 $ for Wifi per day. Camp 7 $ per person, Dorm 17 $. Rooms are also available. Very nice garden with swimming pool
