drove in at 11 PM and stayed the night at the big circle shaped clearing. plenty of space for several vehicles, even RVs.
“Day Use” sign posted at the entrance but no one bothered us. woke up surrounded by beautiful hills and a river just below.
unfortunately the place has quite a lot of litter. if you’re going to stay here, pack up your trash and leave no trace behind!

Report Check-Inwir kamen von Bakersfield, da ist das Schild nicht zu sehen...wenn man an der Feuerwache dreht 150m zurück dann sieht man es. netter Point zum übernachten. sehr ruhig trotz Lage direkt an der #178. die Feuerwehr und US foresty kamen vorbei um zu schauen...paar Tage vorher hat es gegenüber am Hang gebrannt. wir sahen auch ein kleines Feuer und dann kam der Hubschrauber mit Wasser....:-) war aber alles im grünen Bereich...
