Managed to stay a few nights here without issue. There is a sign saying “no camping” but I ignored it. No issues. Very quiet at night. Would stay again.

Pretty small dead end road.
There were some other campers too.
It does the job and it’s free!

Decent spot to camp just outside of Nelson, the view is nice and there were other people parked for the night. Someone came to do some donuts around 10:30pm but otherwise we slept well. Didn’t find the toilets, don’t think there are any.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night. Drove all the way to the actual old bridge approach, but a few camped alongside the road hard shoulder. No problems whatsoever. Few other campers there too

Quiet, cools down at night from a light breeze off the lake. Conservation and RCMP patrolled. Felt safe.

Nice beach down the road with picnic benches and toliets

Really nice place because can't stay (for free) in town. Walmart doesn't allow overnight parking

A quiet paved and level spot which often tolerates boon docking
