Description
'The Siding' is a camp site with both - serviced tents (2-4 people) and space for campers and tents. It is just outside the Main Camp of Hwange National Park.
The spot is based next to a water hole where e.g. elephants, warthog, wild dogs and bokkies are always around. (We saw more animals here than in the park.)
Abolutions with hot water are very clean.
Electricity, braai spot, bonfire facilities and kitchen (including fridge) to share available.
Wifi connection very good.
Note December 2023: A swimming pool didn't exist at the time of our arrival yet but was planned.

We try to check in, but they say there is no campsite available at the moment. Maybe in a few weeks.
Report Check-InSet between road and railroad (both little used, about 2 trains a day and no increased traffic expected due to derelict rails).
Camp owner Mike (owns a Lodge in Vic Falls, too) is very nice. Campsite still under development (expected to be finished in June 2024) offers 3 options:
1. 4 Tents for groups with private pool/ablutions
2. Campsite with private ablutions (25$ pppn)
3. Campsite with shared ablutions (15$ pppn)
Two small waterholes (rather concrete potions). We only saw antilopes due to little rainfall but elephants frequently visit the place.
Fast WiFi (StarLink) and electricity on the whole premises.
