Convenient place to stay at walking distance from Nizwa Town (30min). Ahmed is a really nice guy and bike traveler. His camp is evolving everyday so the price will evolve as well, best to check with Ahmed beforehand. Latest addition is WiFi and while we were there 2 showers and toilets were being finished.

Very nice place to camp for a few days and explore Nizwa and the surrounding area. It is green and quiet, although there is all kinds of activity on site, such as a butcher. Ahmed is extremely hospitable, friendly and helpful, has many contacts and is happy to arrange something for you if you have any questions. He does not live on site himself, but comes to watch and chat several times a day. You also see his friends regularly. Ahmed is professionalizing the campsite. Currently there is a hot shower, toilet, outdoor kitchen, electricity, washing machine. He plans to build two additional showers and toilets and even a car washing area.
There are many trees and the area for tents has shade all day.
The old center of Nizwa is a half-hour walk away, a reasonably large supermarket is a 10-minute walk away and around the corner is a small shop for cold drinks and some basic groceries.
Because the campsite is only 70% finished, according to Ahmed, he does not yet have a fixed price. This will come later.
Ahmed also has a nice and professional motorcycle workshop in the industrial area.

Very nice and welcoming guys. We were offered food and drinks right away. Place itself also very nice spot with lots of green and animals. Roosters and other birds quite noisy in the morning.

Also some music and people chatting close to our tents during the whole night which didn't give us the best night sleep. So probably best to sleep further away from the clubhouse.

Ahmed is a very kind and generous person. He is an example of the kindness and hospitality of Omanis. He receives everyone with warmth and generosity. The place is very wonderful, clean, and has many wonderful and nice people. thanks Ahmed.

we came for one night, but in the end we stayed four nights. Ahmed is an amazing host and his farm is wonderful. you have to sleep here :) thank you

We planned to stay one night but ended up staying four. It's all thanks to the great vibe, a quiet place with pets and goats! Thanks also to a good host, Ahmed with his friends ;)

this is a fabulous place to spend a few nights, the place is free, the friendship of Ahmed and his friends is free and the experience is free.
We stayed here 4 nights and visited many interesting places in and near Nizwa. A must visit is the Oman accros ages museum. The goats market on early Friday morning is warmly advised and the Nizwa fort is interesting.
Ahmed is there perfect host and we've loved his and his friends company. Thank you!

Ahmed is one amazing host - excellent place for all kind of camper vans and motorcyclist. He gave us food and nice hot shower. Have washing machine also.

Very nice and peaceful place plus a super friendly owner. Make sure to contact him upfront (via WA) as there are no signs. The entry is the black gate at the coordinates, see image.

In urgent need of a tire change on my motorbike, I first found Ahmed Alismaili's Nizwa Bikers workshop a few kilometres south of town. Ahmed then put me up in a room at his ranch here at Nizwabikers Camping. Overlanders are always welcome here, no matter which vehicle. The large grounds with trees offer camping, and there is a room with two beds if you rather sleep inside. A tow-burner stove is also available. Ahmed and his Nizwa Bikers are great company at dinnertime, too! I ended up staying 3 nights, as Nizwa is an excellent base for Jebel Shams and Jebel Akhdar excursions. Make sure you don't miss the goat market in Nizwa Souq early Friday mornings!

Super cozy and safe heaven to stay.
Nizwa biker team is formed by warm hearted individuals who are very generous to invite you to understand this wonderful gem of the Middle East. We had the true privilege to stay a few times here, with friends who generously opened up the place for us. You can cook your own food here - or just to make a few minutes walk from the camp to Nizwa Souk, and Old Town.
President Ahmed al Ismaeili is a great contributor if you ask him about the next leg of your journey as well. He and the team has excellent contacts not only in the Middle East but far away to other continents as well.
There is a very good workshop, tyre shop for your motorcycle as well.
The Camp is like a nice home stay , you can cook, or for a few Rial buy the wonderful meal which is cooked by the bikers.
