Restaurant is also there but it close at 4 pm
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
we did the kacum that day. fares are high 100cd per person and 80 for children for walkways. for the night in the parking lot without any service 80cd per person even for children. we didn't see anything and the few families we know who have visited the park haven't seen anything either.
Report Check-InSo the prices have been raised. We will upload the new price sign. Be aware, if you want extra hours for hiking they will try to rip you off. An hour extra is 15 cedi, but they will only do that for one extra hour. After that every hour becomes 70 cedi, the original price. Guides are provided by the government for free, but they will tell you they are volunteers.
Report Check-InReally beautiful walk in the canopy !
100 cedi pp
Go early in the morning (8:30)
For camping, don't go on the parking it's way too expensive !
We found, with two other friends travellers, a nice and quiet spot few kilometers away (check on the map)
the prices increased:
- 100cedi pp for camping (!!!)
- 200 cedi pp for staying in a treehouse,
- 10cedi for parking.
- the canopy walk is now 100cedi pp.
In 2022 : Possible to sleep in your car but you have to pay 50 cedi per person and 10 cedis for the parking. This for only clean toilets and no other comodities. Very safe place but very expensive...
Report Check-InWild camped about 6km up the road (north up the main road and then left, not great just by the side of a track) as the car park camping charges seemed high.
We arrived at 8am the following day, paid at 8.30and left the do the canopy tour at 9. We were the only 2 people and it was lovely. As we returnedthe 10am group set off (approximately 30 people from a tour bus). It was a Monday morning - glad we got up early as 30+ people would be crazy, the bridges aren't that long!
Report Check-InNo option to sleep for free anymore. We didn't ask but there is official price list (attached in a photo). There are few options. The cheapest for camping is 50 and tree house is 70.
Entrance to canopy walk is 60 pp. It's an hour walk but it's really crowdy there so don't expect you will walk alone. We were in a group of around 30 people.
Better come early, later there is even more people.
Pay only in cash.
It's really touristic place.
they now have official prices to camp, 45c/pp. the campground is just the parkinglot, they do not have showers. we decided to sleep just outside the gate, wich has a good security because the nightguard is at the gate all night.
park entery fee is 2c/pp.
very touristic, you can only take the tours guided, you can not do them on your own.
