Nice campground in forest. $18/night. No internet. Verizon and ATT 3 bars.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Got the last spot at about 7pm. Dry camping for RV $18. Good spot to start the day at GC and get moving before the crowds arrive.
Report Check-InArrived later in the evening/night, did hear some rustling around the area. Always recommend proper food storage containers when camping anywhere. Good clean restrooms, Verion signal, stayed at a tent only site.
Report Check-InCrowded but so nice to stay within in the park boundaries as not much else is nearby. $18 for a tent site. No large RVs allowed at this site. Water and flush toilets. Full cell service on Verizon!
Report Check-Inwe re looking for 3 nights on your çampground do you have abailable site for pop up tent 12 feets
Report Check-Insuch a lovely quiet spot. $18, 30' vehicle limit, no hookups and some sites are tent only, generator hours 7-9a and 6-8p. make reservations on recreation.gov or walk up and try your luck.
Report Check-Inreally nice place, without electricity, but they have bathrooms, showers and outside tables
Report Check-Inone of our favorite National Park campgrounds we’ve stayed at! the campground is beneath the beautiful ponderosa pines, with flushing toilets/sinks/soap, picnic tables, fire pits, and even a laundromat (washers are $2.50 for standard, or $5.50 for large—dryers are $1.25 for 30 mins) + hot showers ($2.50 in quarters for 5 minutes)!! it’s a huge campground and all the sites are spaced out nicely!! despite there being quite a few people, it was so quiet. i walked our dog around and saw lots of fresh elk poop and all sorts of animal footprints! another great bonus: you’re in 0.4 mile walking distance (from site 009 Aspen Loop) to the Market Place where they have a grocery store, post office and bank! we are so thankful we got to spend a night here! (it’s only $9.00 per night if you have the access pass!)
Report Check-InGreat spot. Showed up without a reservation and they had plenty of open spots this time of year. light traffic in the park, great spot to view the canyon and plenty of food options, grocery store, showers, water, etc.
Report Check-InCamped here for two nights after major snow storm. Roads were mostly plowed, but you had to shovel your own campsite. Shovels available from campground check-in booth. Bathrooms were clean and heated.
Report Check-In$18 dollars a night in the middle of Grand Canyon National Park. Very big campground with spacious campsites, also suitable for big groups. Reservations actually needed but we just went up there and even though it said "full" we still asked and got a spot, note that you do need to arrive at office hours. Toilets and potable water available. showers for $2.50every site has a picnic table and fire ring (but mostly not allowed to make). we did not manage to get the hearings in the soil though but that might be our site. lots of trees around, so not too windy
Report Check-InVery central campground for visiting South Rim. 18$ per site, each with picnic table and fire ring. We had not reserved. There are about 10-15 sites reserved on a first-come basis. You have to be in line by about 8:30 as the office opens at 9:00. We did that for two nights without problem. It was birthing for elks si we saw a few around...There are toilets close to campsites. The showers are for everyone, at the entrance of Mather at a cost of 2.50$. Work well. We liked our stay 👏
Report Check-InSite 065, Fir Loop, dump trash, restrooms, water pump. Quiet, very nice
Report Check-Inso there's a few to get into the park and then your camping fee when you get there. so just keep that in mind.
Report Check-InNo privacy, high desert campground. Spots are flat and walking distance to toilets. Lots of activity as you might expect at the GC.
Report Check-InNice campground. Typical for a National Park. Good for tents, vans, truck campers, and small RVs. Most sites are reasonably level. Flush toilets, water spigots throughout, trash dumpsters by toilets. Can reserve through Recreation.gov but they maintain a number of first come first served sites.
Report Check-InGreat spot for smaller campers and trailers. Well. maintained. Pay showers. $18 per night. Potable water in pumps placed around loops.
Report Check-Inwe will try to get there tomorrow as all is booked because of Thanksgiving
Report Check-In4th night in the last several weeks. Easy to find a spot even after hours as they post sheets with tear-off tabs for available spots. All good experiences thus far, and with Verizon I'm getting strong 5g signal.
Report Check-InMade a reservation but found the campground sparsely occupied due to early season cold temperatures. The sites were level. I had booked site 34 in the Aspen loop, which was literally right in front of the bathroom, 10 feet away. Reserve. gov doesn’t give good reference to the campground map, which makes it difficult to scope put where you will end up. Cost was only $9 with Parks pass 50% discount.
Report Check-Invery good place to visit grand canyon. 15$ per night. Be carreful to check if place is available before paid.
Report Check-InAn average campground with a ton of spots. Right next to Grand Canyon village hotspots. We got tepid Verizon LTE speeds with signal booster. If your worried about speeds, head to the backcountry office where there is terrific Verizon LTE speeds.
Report Check-InWe booked in advance for our periode. We booked three nights, but onenight we and the rig left for an oveenighttrip to Bright Angel CG.
All places are with paved areas and table and firering.
Showers (2,50$) are not in walking distance, we had A131!
ótimo lugar pra passar a noite dentro do parque grand canyon! Sem conexões para rv! U$$ 18,00 por noite! Dump Station na entrada gratis!
Report Check-InWe stayed 5 nights.
Depending on where they place you, the services are quite a distance away.
The closest wifi is in market plaza. The campground service center does NOT have wifi.
The buses will take you pretty much everywhere for free so best to use them.
The showers were still $2 for 8 minutes but the admin said they were going to be changed to 5 minutes soon. I found a shower that did not turn off even after 15 minutes!!
Laundry machines are all new.
Be careful of the wildlife in your camp, so keep food away.
Report Check-InLarge campground with pull-thru and back-in spots. Bathrooms are heated. Showers and laundry located nearby. We stayed 2 nights and no problems.
Report Check-Inbeautiful and well situated. a little bit too close from the road but we enjoy our night there!
Report Check-InWe slept free at Kaibab national forest but came here for showers (2$/8min) and laundry. When you arrive at the campground, paying hot showers and laundry are right there to your right.
Report Check-InCampground inside Grand Canyon, 18$ per night there is showers dump and water station in the entrance but when we came they were closed due to a broken pipes. Otherwise very nice campground
Report Check-In$15usd per night in January 2018. nice campground. showers at camper services down the road and laundry.
Report Check-InPrice per night in October 2017: 18 USD.
Shuttle (Blue Line, Village and Visitor Center) right at the entrance to the campground.
Nice campground in the forest with clean bathroom.Lots of site. Payed shower 2$ at the camper service +-1km ago.
