Spent 3 nights in the parking lot of Target, The Home depot, etc.
Next to the train station of Wellington. You can walk to the station or park there for $5 flate rate and take the train to the downtown.
Quiet and good place to sleep!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I went to park in the Target parking lot but noticed signs that said “no overnight parking”. I moved over about 500’ to the Home Depot parking lot and parked behind some sheds they have out as a display so I could have more privacy. No problems overnight and generally quiet except for the distant sound of the train running occasionally.
Report Check-InOn 2nd night, a Saturday night into Sunday, a tow truck operator banged on the door. kicked myself and 2 other vans out "no over nights in this lot". I was tucked at the end of the Home Depot side. No issues the previous night. I found a back street behind the nearest Planet fitness down the road with some parallel spots and no signage saying anything on limitations. saw 2 tractor trailers and a few other cars parked in nearby spots on street. hopefully This spot works ok. my first "knock", and was dead asleep... not a great feeling 😡
Report Check-Intarget said no overnights. home depot has signs saying you will be towed. manager at home depot said it is city regulations that do not allow overnight parking here.
Report Check-InStayed in H.D. parking lot. a couple other cars were there. no signs prohibiting overnight. decent spot.
Report Check-In5 nights, no problems. Frequented by truckers. No knocks, no issues from target or the gateway center plaza. I left the bus during the day every day to go into Boston, no issues there either. Several people stopped to say hello, everyone seemed to like the bus. No hostility.
Report Check-InSlept in the Home Depot parking lot of this plaza. Target had “no overnight” signs. Showed up late and tried to be as stealthy as possible in our sprinter van. No one knocked on our doors
Report Check-InBoth Target and Home Depot said they no longer allow overnight camping. Target specifically said that there is a nightly tow truck that comes through.
Report Check-InSpent two nights at the Home Depot parking lot right next to Target. Called and got permission from management, said they were good with overnight parking. Good spot, no problems. Walked from here to Wellington Station -15 minute walk- to get into downtown Boston.
Report Check-Inwe stayed here 1 night, it’s so peaceful an quiet. No one bothers you. If you have dogs, there’s a nice little walking path to take your dog for a walk. There is a bathroom inside target, they are open till midnight. Same time you can get any groceries you need..
Report Check-InWe spent there 4 nights with no problems. Target close at midnight. Great spot if you are going to visit Downtown. Just a 20 Min. drive by car.
WiFi is also available.
Behind the Target is also a big parking lot.
Perfect spot if you are traveling with a dog. Next to the parking lot is a great area to go for a walk.
Spent a very quiet night in the Target carpark. There were no other campers but a few trucks were parked up so we felt very comfortable there. No one bothered us and we slept great!
Target is open till midnight so you have a bathroom till then.
Stayed one night, nice to have the Target restroom and to stock up on some groceries. Sprinkler went off at 3:30 in the morning and since we have a longer van we got a bath. Had to move since it was too loud to sleep through, just a heads up if you park near the grass. Other than that all good!
Report Check-InWe spent one night. No problem. Near the metro 10 minutes walking with children.
