South Africa
This place is amazing! It's beautiful, near a small dam pond.
Next to the pond is the cosy pub with a fridge that always has something to offer.
The owners Rory and Sue are incredibly good hosts. They've traveled quite bit themselves and have many stories to tell!
There's also a kitchen and Sue will cook if you request dinner.
Camping is 75 ZAR. And there are some rooms.

A hidden gem. Great communal kitchen with log fireplace, best showers in months. Big truck, motorbike, mountain bike and pet friendly. Good well appointed rooms too. Sue and Rory extremely welcoming and friendly.
Report Check-InGreat campsite. Friendly owner Rory. To they have several rooms and a yard where is possible to camp. Bathrooms are ok with hot water. No wifi and cash only.
Report Check-InAbsolutely nice place on perfect green meadow next to a dam. Very clean ablutions with kitchen for us.
Last but not least very friendly owner su and rory. Rory offers enduro rides if you have your own bike.
We can highly recommend this camp.
We really enjoyed our stay, overlooking the dam, and the pasture where the goats feed. Sue is a wonderful host, so attentive. Clean ablutions, hot showers, flushing toilets, clean kitchen.

Superer friendly place to stay. Sur and Rory were very helpful when my car overheated and I needed a place to camp and sort out the mechanical problems.
wished I could have stayed longer.
Sue is a lovely host and the place was one of the nicest and one of the cheapest I found in South Africa. Very well equipped kitchen and super clean restrooms. If you are nearby and you're looking for a place to sleep this is definitely your best option.
Report Check-InVery nice camping and friendly guys, big kitchen and good hot showers, We paid 75 Rand p.P. There is an extension for electricity
Report Check-InRory and Due are awesome hosts we enjoyed our second stay thoroughly.
Rory was so kind to fix some damage we had done to our trike on a badly chosen road from Royal Natal. Thank you Guys see you soon.
It is a wonderful place!! Very friendly owners. The rooms are furnished comfortably. And evening one can go to own bar.
Report Check-InAgain I too agree with the previous posts, Rory and Sue are great hosts, we opted for a room, because it started raining when we got here, and tenting just was not that appealing in the rain after several hours on the bikes.... the rooms are awesome so are all the facilities.... worth the stop for sure!!!!
Report Check-InWe agree with the previous reviewers that this place is awesome - because Sue & Rory are awesome! We spent hours with them over beers in the pub next to their house talking about life in SA and traveling through Africa. (Rory used to drive an overlanding vehicle).
Their kitchen and ablutions are beautiful and spotless. The camping area isn't private - since there are 15 rooms in the property too, but that's the only downside. Paid R150 for the two of us.
