This is a nice flat meadow among the Ponderosa Pines right off the side of NF 309 near Grangeville and Elk City ID. There’s a fire ring. There’s room for several rigs. We have 2-3 bars of ATT and TMobile.

Absolutely beautiful site, more like a small clearing than a meadow. Mountain View’s! Space to park / camp on the south side of the road as well. Potentially hazardous trail leading onto a spur at site. Camp right by the road, you’re fine. Deranged bigoted locals harvesting lumber (possibly illegally), tried to harass me out of the site but I ignored them and stayed anyway.
Report Check-InBeautiful location. Too bad it was raining. Road to get here was good.
