Description

Large plaza with lots of parking. You cannot park in the Walmart lot, but security advised that parking just past the 37th street entrance is allowed. When visiting my daughter nearby, I park here. I’ve spent many peaceful nights here.

There is some road noise and the occasional homeless stragglers. One person shouted through the window asking for a cigarette once, but left without incident.

There are usually other vehicles parked in the area. I’ve seen moving trucks, other motorhomes, cars, vans, etc.

As far as amenities, there are bathrooms in the Walmart and Home Depot, which close at 10PM. There are multiple food establishments on the east side of the plaza, as well as a Planet Fitness.

Latest Check-Ins

Not super comfortable, but decent. Lights are too bright. Security car is driving all the time, but doesn’t seem to be checking cars. Slept here in Prius for 2 nights, had no issues. Other vans and cars parked here too. Also one big RV.

Report Check-In

Stayed here overnight before an early flight at sky harbor. There was a lot going on for 11 pm on a Sunday but found a relatively quiet corner by the planet fitness. Reasonably quiet in the early am a few loud cars and people. Nobody bothered me, and there were a few others that appeared to be staying overnight as well.

Report Check-In

I parked here for a night. It was very noisy, but thankfully, no knocks. Saw 2 homeless people. There is a security car roaming around. There were 3 cars and 2 vans parked all night as well.
