The price is now 150 pula. The camp is in good condition.

Report Check-In

Huge camping spot. 110 pula. Has all the expected amenities in good condition

Report Check-In

We stayed at campsite number 4 for 3 days, after all other campsites were fully booked.

Staff were very friendly, sites were clean and amblition and wash facility were very neat.

We had use of the swimming pool and bar facility, wifi also works 100% in camp sites.

The campsites has no grass and shade are limited the bar might be noisy, but will still rate it at least 8/10

Report Check-In

Campsites inside the lodge, close to the reception, swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Campsites are close to each other, but have good space. Electricity and individual kitchen station, ablutions were very close and ok, a little bit dark. Wifi works very well even in the campsite. Can arrange activities on the reception. Friendly staff. Loved the camping, but the location is very close to the road, and far from the river, maybe you can try another camping by the river for similar price and conditions.

Report Check-In

A perfect place to stay in Kasane. Well equipped camp site with roasting hot, powerful showers. Nice bar, restaurant etc. Used by overlanding companies and tours so lots of nice people to chat with but not noisy at all! Really friendly atmosphere and great team of staff. Perfect to access Chobe NP on a day trip or for using as a base to restock/ do jobs in Kasane. its not on the river but really pleasant grounds and yes I could hear the road but it didn't keep me awake or bother me. 110 pula pppn.

Report Check-In

Friendliest staff in Kasane! Nice and clean ablutions, beautiful pool area. Only (big) downside: road noise at night. Otherwise, definitely recommend!

Report Check-In

110 pppn. Excellent facilities : big pitches, electricity, hot showers, water tap, brai, light, clean and big pool, restaurant, bar, strong wifi at the campsite... excellent for chilling and relaxing. just we listened the road all the night so not so quiet. if you are searching a cheapest place with less facilities, you can go to Bananya packpackers (75 pppn).

Report Check-In

Best wifi and setup in Namibia and Botswana and super affordable

Report Check-In

Good place after crossing the border to stay 1 or 2 night before the big way to Nata . 90 pula for camping . Breakfast it’s 140 pula but it’s a buffet and dinner it’s 200 pula very expensive for me I cooked my food . Wifi is fast and hot shower

Report Check-In

I’m surprised by the reviews here. For context I’m camping in a tent I pitch to the ground.

This place is a bit rubbish. Dirty ablutions with no toilet paper, internet that doesn’t work, and the ground is HARD and rocky so you can’t put the pegs in.

Staff tried to charge me extra to stay here saying they had no room and would have to move people, but I just walked out back, saw two empty lots, and then they immediately changed their tune.

I wouldn’t stay here again.

Same cost at 90.

Report Check-In

As stated. Excellent value for money. Still 90 Pula per person. Kids pay half. Excellent pool, clean ablutions with hot water. Fast wifi.

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite, although lots of biting ants on a few of the pitches. We were on pitch 1 which was fine. Great pool, really good Wi-Fi. 90p per person, children half price.

Report Check-In

Still 90 Pula pp. Beautiful garden. And a very nice pool. Good value for money. And not in Town.

Report Check-In

still great value for money at P90 ppn. showers really good, use of pool, stand 4 and 7 are really big, the others quite small, dog friendly. but avoid at weekends as locals come to party all night.

Report Check-In

This is more properly in Kazungula than Kasane. We took a safari tent as it was raining heavily and we had a ground tent - the Kwalape tent sites are best for roof tents.
We were not enraptured by this facility and specifically the safari tent. The tent had holes in the mosquito netting that could easily be fixed - but wasn’t. Similarly the construction of the tent had seen better days, with one corner having come loose of its fastenings and sagging inwards. The path to the tent was basically a bare dirt water channel.
Maintenance of the campsite is clearly a low priority and the bare minimum is being done to make it attractive or more livable.
E.g. the safari tent has an “en suite” bathroom. The toilet seat cover was broken, there was no mirror and not a single hook or peg for towels etc.
The price was great ~300 Pula for the night, but we prefer to spend money on lodges that focus on customer care.
PS - do NOT take the buffet dinner - it is an overpriced disappointment.

Report Check-In

Yes the camp sites are a bit close together and it is a bit noisy but it is beautifully landscaped, the pool is lovely, the people working are so great, and best free WiFi in town! And it is a deal at 90P pp!

Report Check-In

Nice campsite, with excellent pool area. Do ask the receptionists if they know if any big groups are coming though. It started off as a quiet campsite and after 2 nights 2 big groups of locals came, which made it very busy.

Report Check-In

We really enjoyed our two nights here (90 pulas pppn still). We hadn’t pre-booked and the lady at reception was very proactive in getting us a good spot. We had the pool to ourselves one afternoon and enjoyed hot showers with good water pressure! Only downside is that the water in the sinks only come out hot (not warm or cold). There was a bit of noise from the road but not too bad. Currently camping at Chobe Safari Lodge in Kasane and we actually wish we were back at Kwalape. We also did the afternoon boat trip into Chobe waterfront with Kwalape and enjoyed that (price is still 310 pulas pp for the 3 hour boat cruise). Would recommend trying the morning boat cruise as we don’t think there’d be as many boats on the water + higher chances of seeing cats near the river from the boat.

Report Check-In

Campsite was also accommodated our Motor Home with ease.

Report Check-In

Passed 2 nights in our RTT. Great ablutions - best shower in a long time (hot AND strong). Could hear traffic from camping area but nice to relax by the pool or bar area. Good free wifi & nice staff.

Report Check-In

Everything like said before. Good Wifi, friendly staff, clean ablutions. Sometimes a little bit noisy when bigger gruops in the camp because the slots are sude by side. So or so enjoyed my stay.

Report Check-In

Similarly to what others have written, this is a nice camp and good value for money at 90ppn (camping). The staff are friendly and facilities are decent.

The two big gripes are:
1) Sites are small and VERY CLOSE! No private conversations are possible - neighbours are literally in your camp and vice versa.
2) The road noise is quite apparent.

Report Check-In

Nice camp site with good ablutions. Power at sites and water at some. Plenty of shade. Nice pool too. We paid 90 pula pppn. We also did a boat cruise from here for 310 pula pp including park fees. Cheapest around by far!

Report Check-In

we stayed at the tends and paid P375 pn. The place is under renovation. Good pool with a bar. Campsites are too close one from the other. We took a transfer to Victoria Falls for P495 pp and the Chobe River Cruise for P310 pp, this last one cheaper than other places.

Report Check-In

Pitches are sandy but the place is great, we ended up staying a few days. They accommodated us in our 8 tonne truck just fine. There is some road noise but it didn't bother us. Pool, bar, and restaurant are all good. Ablutions are fine, amazingly no insects despite open roof.

Report Check-In

Good campsite for a good price. 90 pula pppn. Dogs allowed if you ask kindly and if your dog is well trained and stays on a leash. Recommend.

Report Check-In

Sandy pitches and a bit small. Next to each other, so they will hear my snoring ;-o
You can hear the busy road.
Good location for this price to stay a night...... or 2.
BP 90 pp.

Report Check-In

We stayed at one of their chalets (which are the same as their safaritents, but with private ablution). Paid P900 per chalet. Nicely situated in between wooded area.

Report Check-In

A little noisy from the road, otherwise fine. Not the best ablutions, but still ok.
Restaurant ok.
95 pula pppn

Report Check-In
