just confirming:
pizza is great (tastes good and large), they also have good empanadas
shop still exists and has beverages, chocolate and lots of hardware stuff
the person in charge told me that he is typically awake until midnight

Report Check-In

Stayed for one quiet night. Asked in the house if we can park in front. They sayed yes. Just a normal parking area close to road. Space for lot of trucks if needed.

Report Check-In

Had a lovely breakfast here of fresh bread and marmalade. Also decent shop for groceries and they have power and Wi-Fi. Needed stop if you are cycling

Report Check-In

unless you dont mind to sleep under dry llama meat

Report Check-In

Pizzas don’t start until 1 but the shop is ok. They only have salty water (unless you buy bottled) but we refilled with drinking water at the workers camp nearby

Report Check-In

on a dormi ici une nuit, on à demandé, il n'y a pas de problème. il m'a donné son code wifi sans contre partie. Nuit super calme et fraîche. je recommande.

Report Check-In

Friendly and and great, cheap pizza with fresh tomatoes and spinach if you ask for vegetarian.

Report Check-In

I asked for a place to camp and they gave me a fairly good wind protected spot at the side of their house. I was allowed to use their bathroom, although they asked 100 peso for it at first but the second and third time didn't charge... they also gave me water, but they weren't overly friendly and seemed a bit grudging. they still sell empanadas and pizza

Report Check-In

We spent the night here before passing the border at Jama.
In the Tourist Info was just a young guy, a kind of caretaker I think. So no information for us, but a quiet and windy night.

Report Check-In

we were there and ate a pizza. they were really nice and also have some groceries if you need anything.

Report Check-In

We parked at the back of the building and spent a quiet night, protected from the wind.
We got there at night (we initially chose a place in the wild but decided to move because of a strong storm) so we didn't see anyone and didn't ask for permission but it's probably better to ask if you get there a little early.

Report Check-In

Things seem to have changed - nothing of the before described: no wifi, no toilet, no pizza, no empanada, jusg a somewhat bored young couple. Spent the night, not more :-(

Report Check-In

Really kind couple. They let us sleep in the dinner room, gave us the wifi and let us use the toilets. Wind protected.

Restaurant (Empanadas, Sandwiches) open during the day. Small Shop (pretty well stocked for being in the middle of nowhere) was also open in the evening. The owner / old man seems to be very cyclist friendly. When we asked if we could pitch our tent next to the house he immediately invited us to sleep in the yard which has wind proteccion from 3 sides. We were also allowed to use their toilets (for free, usually they charge 5pesos), offered drinking water (ask though because the water from the tap is not safe to drink!) & also got hot water for our coffee in the morning.

Report Check-In

We got water from here, only one of us drunk it and was violently sick after. Suggest filtering or treating. Nothing here and closed down. Just one guy living here.

Report Check-In

An old Man say welcome and show us the Kiosk and some Handmade Stuff. He didn‘t let us Park for the night. No Empanadas, no Coffee, no Biscuits, no W-Lan

Report Check-In

No empanadas :-( only coffee and biscuits. Unable to connect to the WiFi.
We didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Nice place with some shelter from the wind.. very quiet when it gets dark...apart from the wind...

Report Check-In

You can put a tent in the yard when cycling around. The lady owner can prepare wonderful empanadas and there is a little shop.

Report Check-In

Tourist information open. Very warmly welcomed... there's a "kiosko" - little shop - don't rely on it to shop food. Otherwise there's a kitchen where a nice lady cook empanadas! Asking kindly we manage to buy pasta and rice from her.

Report Check-In

Tourist centre/centre of interpretation was open. A lovely family manages the place, they have three small girls who just love tourists and won't leave you alone (helped me put every single tent peg in the ground). No issues with camping, nice and out of the wind within the courtyard. The mum makes a wicked empanada!

Report Check-In

tourist information centre was closed when we cycled past and there is a courtyard out of the wind to put a tent. there is water round the back.
