Worst tourist trap we've experienced in all of Argentina. ------ Worst tourist scam in Argentina ------ The worst trap for tourists in Argentina ------- From this point there is an old construction on the road, from at least three years ago, which is clearly being diverted to individual livestock and settlement interests. There are 30 km of an extremely precarious and dangerous road (worse than the damned 73km of Ruta 40). Furthermore, if you are even a fan of ecology, you will be saddened by the devastation you see along the way. Where there should be native forest, there is devastation. Where there should be native fauna, there are cattle. All this within the area of the Nahuel Huapi national park, which is not very understandable. It is not possible to stay overnight anywhere other than in campsites with the excuse of (non-existent) environmental conservation, which is ignored by the local population, who insist on cutting down the native forest for their own comfort and convenience. you will see signs shot by bandits on the way, cattle all over the road and a beautiful lake that is practically private, because it is not possible to stop for the night anywhere on its edge. This all sounds really bad, doesn't it?! because the worst is when you arrive in the village. Get ready to leave your kidney at any campsite you stop at and spend the night

There is nothing wrong with this road. A typical ripio road like many others in Patagonia. A bit narrow at a couple of points but even for our 13 ton, 2.5 m wide, and 3.9 m high truck no problem. Plus, the road all the way to Villa Traful and further to RN 237 is quite beautiful. Vila Traful looked like a place where it would be nice to spend a few days in summer. We only drove by as the weather was not great. Also, most if not all campgrounds were closed.

La peor trampa para turistas de Argentina

A partir deste ponto há uma obra antiga na estrada, de pelo menos três anos atrás, que está nitidamente sendo desviada para interesses individuais de pecuária e assentamento. São 30 km de uma estrada extremamente precária e perigosa (pior que os 73km malditos da Ruta 40).
Além disso, se você é minimamente adepto da ecologia, vai ficar triste com a devastação que vê pelo caminho. Onde deveria haver mata nativa, há devastação. Onde deveria haver fauna nativa, há gado. Tudo isso dentro da área do parque nacional Nahuel Huapi, o que não dá pra entender muito bem. Não é possível pernoitar em lugar nenhum que não sejam nos campings com a desculpa da (inexistente) conservação ambiental, que é ignorada pela própria população local, que insiste em derrubar a mata nativa para conforto e comodidade próprias. você verá placas baleadas por bandidos no caminho, gado por toda a estrada e um lindo lago que é praticamente privado, porque não é possível parar para pernoitar em nenhum lugar da sua borda.
Tudo isso parece muito ruim, não é?! pois o pior é quando você chega na vila. Prepare-se para deixar seu rim em qualquer camping que parar e passar uma noite/dia sem qualquer comodidade. Banheiros sem papel higiênico, wi-fi inexistente em toda a vila e preços que não baixam de 20 mil pesos por casal para uma diária sem comodidades.
RECOMENDAMOS FORTEMENTE QUE NÃO VENHAM PARA CÁ!
