Description
Good place for one night. Campsites all have lights, power, braai area and bins. Some have watertap. Ablutions simple but okay. Seperate washing up area. If you happen to arrive in the weekend or on a holiday (like we did) there's music all day. It's a theme park with swimming pool and slides as well. In the evening it's closed for day visitors so nice and quiet again. R 200 per site.

This camping site is completely empty now. According to the expire date of the fire distinguishers, it's not really in use since at least 2020.
The site doesn't get cleaned and there is no warm water and electricity anymore. But there are some working toilets.
We paid 200 for one tent-site. We paid at the gas-station.
This is a very special overnight. We left Panorama at Graskop this morning and was looking for a stop-over after God's Window & Burck's Potholes, on our way to Eiland ATKV. Then I-Overlander showed us this gem, just past Abel Erasmus tunnel, at the petrol station.
The receptionist got us a special pensioner's price of R200 (normal R250), from the owner..thanks. Green grass ... unheared of in extra dry Lowfeld winter. Filtered shade, like an oasis. Quiet..we were the only campers. Ideal for rest, eat & sleep.
