Located in the parking lot of the Leadville fairgrounds, super quiet and easy access. My 2WD can easily get through the snow here and it is sometimes plowed. I’ve stayed here with a few other campers/vans for several days without issue. Police make regular patrols and the only noise are random vehicles doing donuts in the lot. Amazing views and close to the dump center.

We were heading for twin lakes when we encountered a ton of snow despite being early May. luckily this spot worked out quite well. couple of other rigs in the lot. Safe area. had a cozy stay with the diesel heater running. good option if you get stuck like we did.
Report Check-InStayed two nights no issues. Heard a police siren blip at 4am, two trucks were in the lot but couldn't tell if they were the cops or not. Didn't knock or say anything to me. Dump trucks were dumping snow in the lot the next morning but nobody bothered me
