Stopped for a couple of hours to work. There appears to be an RV park which allows overnight camping. Public restrooms and picnic tables with grills.
Just outside of Comanche and quick access to 67 and 36.

This place was a gold mine! We had some tire trouble so we were delayed in our time getting to Waco. We found this spot to stop overnight and we're so glad we did! We arrived after dark which make it a little tricky to find. If possible, get there in the daylight. Drive to end of the park and then go to the left of the pool back there. That's where you'll see signs for the RV park. There was only one other RV parked there. And yes, there really was free electric and water if you wanted it. Electricity was so huge on a hot, humid night in Texas. I would give this place 5 stars! We also saw a bunch of deer which was really fun for us city-folk!
Report Check-InNice City Park with RV spots, I've been told that it's free by people who have stayed here before! No signs asking for money and plenty of city employees driving past. not asking for any. The flush toilet restrooms are clean enough, although no showers. I was told some of the sites have electrical hookup.
