No streetlights/ pitch black. Flat, packed gravel. Strong Verizon signal. Busy road: light traffic midnight-5AM. Spot is in full view of road, but no homes. Felt safe. Only sign is "Parking Area." No prohibitive signs / rules.
There is a county park .7 miles away across the bridge. It's open dawn to dusk (no gate). It has pit toilets (no running water), covered picnic tables, Garbage cans, and a lot of "No Overnight Parking or camping" signs. Great place to go before heading to the overnight spot. Bridge's only restriction is "no trucks with type R permit." My 11' tall, 13,000 lb RV had no issue. No weight or height indication; I'd *GUESS* 12' 6"
